Yes, the Atlantic City Air Show “A Salute to Those Who Serve” will return this year for their 20th beachfront season. The event will take place on Wednesday, August 16th starting at 11 a.m. If you’re in town early you could watch the practice on Tuesday, August 15th! There is no rain date.
This year a premium viewing area aptly called “The Fly Zone” will be an option. You’ll find more information below.

Performers
Due to the 20th anniversary, this air show will be extra special. The top aerial performers will be:
- 177th Fighter Wing of the N.J. Air National Guard
- U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team
- U.S. Marine Corps AV-88 Harrier Demo Team
- U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds
Additional acts, both civilian and military, are still to be announced.
The Atlantic City air show will bring more than 500,000 spectators. The attendance record was broken in 2022 with over 550,000 enjoying the show.
The new Fly Zone will be a unique experience. This ticketed viewing area will be on the beach at Show Center. A “20th Anniversary” reduced rate will be offered. This fenced area will be located right on the beach in prime viewing territory and spectators will be able to choose their spot and set up their personal space with their own blankets, towels, umbrellas and chairs. Private restrooms will be available as well as food and non-alcoholic beverage vendors. No outside food or beverage will be permitted in The Fly Zone.
Pricing for the Fly Zone will be:
● Practice Day (8/15/23)
o Children 5 and younger – FREE, no ticket required but must be accompanied by an adult
o Children 6 to 12-years-old – $10* per ticket, must be accompanied by an adult
o Children and Adults 13 years and older – $20* per ticket
● Show Day (8/16/23)
o Children 5 and younger – FREE, no ticket required but must be accompanied by an adult
o Children 6 to 12-years-old – $15* per ticket, must be accompanied by an adult
o Children and Adults 13 years and older – $25* per ticket
*Taxes and fees are not included in the above pricing.
